After working as an editor of a women's magazine and website at a publishing company, I retired and began writing.

Published an essay about my father's lonely death, "My Father Was Dying Alone" (Nikkei BP).

The work has been highly acclaimed for its depiction of contemporary social issues.

Live in Tokyo with five cats.

Love traveling and photography : Ricoh GR3, GR3x, LEICA Q2. Visited 40 countries in the world. Also been on a round-the-world cruise.
